How to get Published Budding Authors Department Publish your work as an eBook

Display Cabinet

We will display your writing under the following categories…

·        Fiction Novels

·        Non-fiction Books

·        Short Stories

·        Poetry

·        Anything Else

As long as your submission meets our criteria we will happily show it in our Display Cabinet for a minimum of one year.

While your work is displayed, you are welcome to send us amendments and updates at any time. You may choose to self-edit, send the link to your page to others for feedback, or you may decide to make use of our professional constructive critique and mentoring services.

The Short Story, Poetry and Anything Else sections are predominantly to show the world what a high calibre of talent we can attract, because you never know who might be browsing. We particularly welcome poems and short story submissions from authors who are hoping to publish an anthology.

Please see our Submission Guidelines.

What happens next?

We will read your Submission and offer you a brief constructive evaluation. We may offer to showcase your writing in our Display Cabinet, or even to publish it. Please note, we publish many more eBooks than print books. If we do not feel that your submission is suitable for display or publication, we will explain why, and offer advice where appropriate.

We encourage publishers and agents to visit our site, but please remember that your best advocate is YOU. Once your work is displayed and/or published, feel free to promote it to the world by referring them to your space on the website.

Our ‘Anything Else’ category

Any art form may bend and even break the rules, but great writing is always a pleasure to read. We have included this category for anything original and wonderful that you may have penned that does not naturally fall into one of our other sections. It might be a descriptive piece, a letter of complaint written in a particularly clever and original style, a joke, memorial piece or anything else. All we ask is that is written by you, is unpublished and that it does not libel anybody or any organisation. For example, if you have penned a masterpiece in a letter of complaint, don’t keep it to yourself. Share it with us and with the World Wide Web – but first blank out the names of the company and people concerned. Up to 5000 words.

What will this cost you?

If we publish your work, we will display your opening chapters, synopsis and author bio for free. Otherwise the price is just £20 per year, but remember that items are displayed by invitation only.

Publish as an eBook

When your book is the finished article, or your article is the finished book, we may be interested in publishing it as an eBook. Apart from the opportunity of making money from sales, you will get your work out there, legitimately be able to consider yourself a published author, and increase your chances of attracting traditional publishers. For further information on ePublishing check out eBooks at the top of the page.
